(his 12th of the season) in the 2nd inning and delivered a base-hit in the
9th inning. Overall Baltimore out-hit Stairway II 13 to 10.
Pete Alexander(27-9) was the winner allowing 6 runs in 7 innings. Pete
Vuckovich(11-15) was the losing pitcher. He surrendered 9 runs and 6 hits in

Romero(20-15) looked very much in control throughout the day. He didn’t give
