Terry Harper had 2 base hits and 2 RBI as the Tomsk Babes defeated the Asbury
Park Midnight Gang by the score of 5 to 3 at Crosley Field

In the 3rd inning Tomsk scored 4 runs. That scoring would be all that was
needed. Asbury Park had a chance in the 9th but they came up short.

Johan Santana(20-11) picked up the victory, allowing 3 runs in 8 and 2/3
innings. Horacio Pina earned the save, his 5th. Bob Veale(18-13) was given
the loss. He struggled with his control issuing 8 walks in 5 and 1/3
innings.

2010 Season

Cliff Pennington steals 4 bases in 6-5 victory over Blackburns

Colby Rasmus ripped 2 home runs and had 3 RBI at Miller Park where the
Bayside Tigers beat the Buffalo Blackburns 6 to 5.

Rasmus enjoyed a big day at the plate. He smashed a two-run homer in the 1st
inning, lofted a solo-blast ‘downtown’ (his 22nd of the season) in the 5th
inning and laced a base-knock in the 7th inning. Neftali Feliz earned the
save with a perfect ninth, his 39th save.

The win went to Cole Hamels(22-14) who allowed 5 runs in 7 and 2/3 innings.
Dan Haren(14-13) was given the loss. He was touched for 3 homeruns in his 4
and 2/3 innings of work.

Jeff Bagwell blasts 3 home runs in 15-5 blowout of Steamrollers

Jeff Bagwell rocketed 3 home runs and had 7 RBI at Riverfront Stdm as the
Dinah Moe Hums embarrassed the Triad Steamrollers by the lopsided score of 15
to 5.

Bagwell enjoyed a big day at the plate. He delivered a solo blast in the 1st
inning, lofted a three-run bomb in the 2nd inning, doubled which was good for
two runs in the 6th inning and blasted a solo shot (his 21st of the season)
in the 8th inning. Dinah Moe bats were very productive in the 1st inning
when they had 4 runs on 4 hits, the 2nd inning plating 4 runs and the 8th
inning which saw them plate 4 runs on 3 hits. Dinah Moe finished with 16
hits while Triad ended up with 11.

Bud Black(12-8) went 7 and 1/3 innings allowing 5 runs for the win. Charlie
Hough(7-17) was given the loss. He surrendered 7 runs in 1 and 2/3 innings
and saw his ERA increase from 4.88 to 5.19.

‘I had good swings today,’ Bagwell said, ‘Everything felt right’.
