Pete Alexander(20-7) and Willis Hudlin(9-14) treated the Baltimore fans to a
fine pitching duel at Forbes Field The Baltimore Starrs eventually
emerged as victors over the The Black Watch Direwolves by the score of 3 to
0.

Baltimore came up with 2 runs in the 2nd inning with the help of 3 hits.
Bernie Williams got things going when he stroked a single. Alex Rodriguez
came next and he smashed a two-run homer (his 36th of the season). That was
all the offense they were to need. After the 3rd inning, neither team was
able to score.

Billy McCool was credited with his 18th save.

2010 Season

Pedro Alvarez launches 3 home runs in 9-4 victory over Phanatics 3

Pedro Alvarez slammed 3 home runs and had 5 RBI as the Paradise Rockers
outscored the Philly Phanatics 3 9 to 4.

Alvarez enjoyed a big day at the plate. He popped a two-run clout over the
fence in the 4th inning, delivered a solo blast in the 6th inning and bombed
a two-run dinger (his 26th of the season) in the 8th inning. Both teams
finished the game with 10 hits.

Aaron Laffey(2-0) went 5 and 2/3 innings allowing 3 runs for the win. Laffey
got relief help from Sean Burnett who gained credit for his 6th save. Casey
Coleman(7-9) suffered the loss.

‘After the stretch we have been through lately, this victory is especially
sweet’ offered ec. Now, we just have to make this the norm – not the
exception!’

Back to the ’90s

Jose Deleon whiffs 15 batters, beats Rabble 6-1

Manny Ramirez ripped 2 home runs and Jose Deleon pitched a 2 hitter as the Helz
Angels outscored the Unwashed Rabble 6 to 1.

Unwashed was unable to claim the lead after Helz went ahead in the 2nd inning
plating a single run using 2 hits. Helz rapped out 11 hits for the
afternoon.

The victory went to Deleon(2-2) who went the distance allowing 1 run. Ken
Hill(8-10) was the losing pitcher. He served up 3 gopher balls in 8 innings.

Deleon was pleased with his performance. He noted, ‘I had good zip on my
pitches. Just as important, my location was right on. The fans really got
into the game too – that always helps me. Now, if I can only do that again
in my next outing.’

2007 Season

Elijah Dukes blasts 2 home runs in 10-9 loss to habernashers

Chase Utley left the yard and had 3 RBI as the hammy habernashers defeated the
inept Blazing Saddles 10 to 9 at PNC Park

Pat Neshek(6-2) came on to close the door tight in relief. He gave up just 1
hit and no walks in 2 and 2/3 innings. Blazing threatened in the 9th but
hammy was able to put down the rally.

Neshek got help from J.J. Putz who earned his 42nd save. Chad Cordero(0-1)
was charged with the loss in relief. He was unable to retire a batter giving
up 3 hits and no walks.
