Grove(20-6) pitched one of his finer games as he simply was too much for the
O’Roark batters. He didn’t allow much, just 7 hits and no walks in 9
innings. Haiyo had just 6 hits for the afternoon.
Eddie Plank(17-12) was hit with the loss. He allowed 6 hits and 4 walks in 8
