Roy Halladay whiffed 14 batters as the New York Highlanders defeated the
N.Glengarry Buttercups by a score of 3 to 1 at Yankee Stadium

Halladay(10-12) was in control of the game from the outset. He was stingy on

total, but I didn’t think I had K’d that many. Say, that’s pretty good,
isn’t it?’

Howell(5-3) was charged with the loss in relief. He gave up 4 runs in 3

Kevin Millwood racked up an impressive total of 11 strikeouts and catcher
Charles Johnson blasted a homerun and had 5 RBI at Coors Field as the RDA
Clippers embarrassed the Thundering Herd by the lopsided score of 16 to
4.

called game!’
