Fat Drunk And won the game with a rally in the 9th inning as they scored 4

disappointed the partisan crowd when he slapped a one-base hit which was good

Don Mossi(2-1) allowed no runs in 2/3 of an inning, and picked up the victory.
Mossi got relief help from John Franco who gained credit for his 3rd save.
Billy Wagner(2-1) was tagged with the loss in relief.

didn’t get the job done. Our fans deserve better than this.’
Jim Thome blasted 4 home runs and had 8 RBI at Yankee Stadium where the
Narcoleptic Verdigris beat the London Towns 10 to 5.
Thome had a big day with his bat. He ripped a solo home run in the 1st
inning, cleared the fences for a two-run home run in the 3rd inning, lost the
ball over the fence for three runs in the 7th inning and cracked a two-run
shot (his 20th of the season) in the 9th inning. Narcoleptic had many
opportunities throughout the game and scored in 6 separate innings.
Roy Halladay(4-4) went 6 and 2/3 innings allowing 3 runs for the victory. Jake
Westbrook(1-7) was tagged with the loss. He was touched for 3 homeruns in
his 5 innings of work.
Narcoleptic now has a record of 15-23. With this loss, London has a 6-4
record of late, 22-16 overall.

In a wild and wooly game at Coors Field the Quad City River Kings finally
topped the Easter Isle War Bunnies by the score of 15 to 14 in 10
Both teams were tied at 13 runs apiece after nine innings. Quad City won it
in the 10th inning. After an out was recorded, Jason Giambi initiated the
scoring spurt when he drew a walk. Larry Walker stepped up next and he drew
a walk. John Jaha then drew a walk to load the bases. Chipper Jones was a
strikeout victim, unable to help out. Darrin Fletcher stepped into the box
and singled knocking home two runners. Quad City bats were hot in the 6th
inning which saw them plate 5 runs on 3 hits. Quad City managed 16 hits in
Paul Shuey(4-1) got credit for the victory, pitching 2 innings and allowing 1
run. The losing pitcher was Steve Farr(3-5) in relief.
Scott Rolen cracked 2 home runs and had 4 RBI at Wrigley Field where the
Tigers Love Children beat the Carlisle Roidragers 3 12 to 5.
Rolen led the offense for Tigers. He blasted a solo shot in the 2nd inning
and smashed a two-run homer (his 5th of the season) in the 4th inning.
Tigers had 14 hits overall, while Carlisle had 5.
