Don’t Call Me Shirley, too at Shibe Park (NL) by the score of 10 to
9.

Derek Jeter had a big day with his bat. He smacked a three-run homer (his
19th of the season) in the 2nd inning and laced a single in the 4th inning.
And Don’t Call threatened in the 9th but Edmonton was able to put down the
rally.

The victory was credited to Tom Glavine(16-15) who went 8 and 1/3 innings,
allowing 8 runs. Ron Perranoski gained credit for his 15th save. Carl
Weilman(8-18) absorbed the loss.

dvt was reflective after the loss, ‘We should have won this one, we just made
one too many mistakes. Son-of-a-gun, that added a couple more white hairs on
this noggin of mine.’

2010 Season

Jonathan Sanchez notches 20th win in 6-2 victory over Colonels

Third baseman David Wright had 2 base hits and 4 RBI as the Maple Laffs II
defeated the Kentucky Colonels by the score of 6 to 2 at Rogers Centre

In the 3rd inning Maple scored 4 runs when they had 4 base hits. That scoring
would be all that was needed. Maple had a total of 8 hits for the game.

Jonathan Sanchez(20-12) got credit for the victory, pitching 6 and 1/3 innings
and allowing 2 runs. Sanchez got relief help from Santiago Casilla who gained
credit for his 5th save. Chris Carpenter(18-16) was hit with the loss.

boomers beat Little Girls II behind Randy Johnson’s 18 K’s

Randy Johnson held Papa’s to 3 hits and Kenny Lofton had 3 base hits as the c
winchester boomers defeated the hopeless Papa’s Little Girls II by a score of
4 to 1 at Fenway Park

c winchester promptly took the lead in their half of the first scoring a
single run using 2 hits. c winchester had 11 hits for the afternoon.

Johnson(22-11) got the victory, allowing 1 run for the game. Jim
Deshaies(10-15) took the loss. ‘He was really impressive today,’ Deshaies
said of his counterpart. ‘Our guys were just swinging at air.’
