Newhouser earned the save, his 40th. The losing pitcher was Bill
Dinneen(20-13). He pitched 8 innings giving up 10 hits and 1 walk.

2010 Season

Delmon Young hits 3 HRs in 6-3 victory over Red Legs

Delmon Young blasted 3 homeruns and had 4 RBI at Great Amer. Bpk where the
Minnesota twins beat the Cincy Red Legs by the score of 6 to 3.

Young enjoyed a big day at the plate. He ripped a solo home run in the 2nd
inning, hit a bases-empty home run in the 4th inning, doubled in the 6th
inning and blasted a two-run home run (his 5th of the season) in the 7th
inning. Minnesota had 10 hits overall, while Cincy had 7.

The winning pitcher was Trevor Cahill(2-3) who allowed 3 runs in 7 innings.
Joakim Soria earned his 6th save. John Danks(2-7) was charged with the loss.
He served up 3 homeruns in his 9 innings.

Young was jubilant after the game ‘Let me see a box-score’ he joked, ‘I want
to see how that game looks on paper.’

Back to the ’90s

Dean Palmer blasts 3 HRs in 9-4 victory over Unit

Dean Palmer launched 3 homeruns and had 6 RBI at Riverfront Stdm where the
Driftwood JohnnyMacs beat the Moon Unit by the score of 9 to 4.

Palmer had a big day at the plate. He smashed a two-run homer in the 2nd
inning, doubled knocking in a run in the 4th inning, ripped a solo home run
in the 6th inning and bombed a two-run dinger (his 17th of the season) in the
8th inning. Driftwood finished with 13 hits while Moon ended up with 9.

The victory went to Wilson Alvarez(7-5) who went 8 and 2/3 innings, allowing 4
runs. Ismael Valdes(4-2) suffered the loss. He was touched for 3 homeruns in
his 5 and 2/3 innings of work.

Palmer was in a good mood after the game, ‘I’m just seeing and hitting the
ball real well now. I made some adjustments last week and they are paying
off. That’s what this game is about. making adjustments as the season goes

1999 Season

Chuck Finley notches 15th win in 5-3 victory over Apocalypse

Chuck Finley pitched 7 strong innings as the Atlantic City High Rollers beat
the Disco Apocalypse by a score of 5 to 3.

In the top of the 3rd inning Atlantic City scored 4 runs with the help of 3
hits. That was all the runs Finley(15-9) needed. Atlantic City banged out 8
hits on the afternoon.

Finley was helped out by Steve Kline who recorded his 10th save. Bruce
Chen(5-10) was the losing pitcher. He served up 3 gopher balls in 8 and 1/3
